Angad Aulakh & Elisa Crutchfield's wedding in Rome

The marriage of filmmaker Angad Aulakh and marketing executive Elisa Crutchfield took place in Rome in September 2024 and brought together 300 guests for a celebration remarkable both for its scale and its blending of traditions. Family and friends arrived from around the world for three days of Sikh and Roman Catholic ceremonies held in palaces, hotels and churches across the city. There were processions, a surprise musical performance, vintage Bentleys and Rolls-Royces, and a wedding Mass in the Basilica of Santa Maria in Trastevere. The festivities reached their peak at Villa Miani, where guests danced beneath the lights overlooking St. Peter's Basilica and the Vatican. A sudden thunderstorm briefly interrupted the evening but failed to dampen spirits. It was a night everyone wished had never ended.
