"I have always been drawn to the moments people don't think to notice, the in-between ones. A glance held a second too long, the quiet after the noise, the small and ordinary gestures that, stitched together, are really what life is made of. These are the moments I have built my work around: not the grand or the staged, but the true.

A storyteller above all else, I choose to shoot on film because it asks something of you that nothing else does - it asks you to wait, to choose with care, and to trust a moment before you have seen it played back. That discipline is not a limitation but the very point of it. Celluloid holds light the way memory does: warm, grained, softly imperfect, and unmistakably alive. It does not simply record a day; it remembers it.

But the image is only part of the story. Each finished piece is brought together with an original score, composed for the couple to whom it belongs, music written for no one else, so that what I hand back is not merely something to be watched, but something to be felt and returned to for years to come.

My work, in the end, is an act of attention. It is about looking closely, and with affection, at the people and moments that matter most, and offering them back, intact, as a story worth keeping."
